Alloy X has excellent resistance to reducing and carburizing atmospheres, making it suitable for furnace components. Due to its high molybdenum content, Alloy X may be subject to catastrophic oxidation at 1204°C. The alloy has good high temperature strength coupled with oxidation resistance up to 1093°C. This Alloy is readily weldable using matching filler wires. After severe forming, fabrications may be annealed at 1177°C, 15 minutes per 1/8″ of thickness, rapid air cool. Blind flange is a connection form of flange. It's basically a flange without a hole in the middle. One of its functions is to block the end of the pipeline, and the other is to facilitate the removal of debris in the pipeline during maintenance. In terms of sealing effect, it has the same effect as the head and the tube cap. However, there is no way to disassemble the head, and the flange blind plate is fixed with bolts, which is very convenient to disassemble.
